We understand how important it is to support friends and loved ones during their appointment/treatment. At the same time, COVID-19 requires us to temporarily adjust our visitor policy in order to keep our patients and visitors safe from infection.
Multicare Medical Center Safety Precautions
· Temperature screening will occur upon entrance to building. No fever (>100), cough, or flu
like symptoms will be permitted entry.
· Patients that should be under quarantine guidelines, including travel restrictions and/or
exposure to know a COVID-19 positive person, will not be checked in.
· Patients are asked to call office when arriving for appointments the front desk will check
you in and call you when the medical assistant is ready for you to be screened and then
you will be examined by provider.
Protection
· Our health care providers wear masks in all clinical spaces.
· Frequent handwashing is required, including at the beginning and at the end of your visit.
Additional safety measures being taken to help protect our patients and visitors include:
· All patients and visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering in all areas.
· Requesting that patients do not arrive sooner than necessary before the start of their
appointment. This will help us reduce
· The number of people in waiting rooms and public areas.
· Asking patients to attend their appointment alone, whenever possible, or limiting to only one family member or other accompanying person.
· Asking patients to notify their practice before an appointment if cough, fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, difficulty breathing, sore throat, or muscle aches and chills are present.
